the weather is high 80s here today too, our entire clan has been barefoot all day. all weekend actually. Its quite the situation come monday morning to find everyones shoes again....
we have 12 happy bf at my house. thats 120 happy toes frolicking around out in the garden all day!

When I was younger, fitter and crazier than now, all year...

I had mastered the art of the quick agile scamper between patches of shade on hot asphalt, but now I only go barefoot in the garden or park when it's mid-summer. And I used to care little about getting cold wet feet, but now I like to be kind to protesting joints. Our winters aren't very wet, so I can squeeze in the odd day here and there right through winter, but for everyday, anyday, spring's the best. August to December is great, and early autumn - March/April - is good, too.

This year we've been spoiled by a warm early autumn, so when a cold spell hit us last week I was shocked into an early rugging up for winter!
