Have you ever said, "I wish I had more hands!"
Ever think of using your feet as extra hands in
performing physical tasks? I've seen pictures of people
who can grasp a pencil between their toes and actually
write an entire letter of correspondence.
---
About all I can do is pick up a dish towel with my toes.
---
So, among all the BF walkers of this tribe, what are
your proudest accomplishments using your toes
and feet *besides* walking, jogging, or running?
Just curious! :-) We may have some geniuses in
our midst. :-)

Re: Pedic Dexterity
Fri, May 28, 2004 - 2:43 PMI'm not very talented with my feet, although I saw a news report about a man who is. I don't remember the details but he is a landscaper and motivational speaker. Born without arms he has learned to use his bare feet as hands. The footage showed him driving a van, mowing a lawn and giving lectures. In one scene he stood on one foot and wrote on a chalk board using the other. The most interesting scene was when he was speaking. The man sat on a desk and used his feet to emphasize his points like a person with hands would have done. -

Re: Pedic Dexterity
Thu, July 15, 2004 - 10:58 AMI pick things up with my feet often. I can write with my right foot but not my left (I write with both hands too). My boyfriend laughs and calls me monkey toes because when something gets dropped I pick it up with my toes unless it's too heavy.
:)
There are other tasks I want to try and do with my feet but I'm not flexible enough yet to do so... -

Re: Pedic Dexterity
Fri, July 16, 2004 - 11:38 PMI remember seeing this guy on TV several years ago that played the guitar with his feet because he was born without arms. The guitar was flat on the floor and he held a pick with one foot and made chords with the other. The thing is - he was very, very, good. I just did a quick search and found his name. At least, I think it's the same guy.

Then, of course, there's Jerry Lee Lewis. But he had his shoes on.
