Hot pavement

It was an usually hot day here, about 85F degrees. Nice BF weather, for sure. But that is about the maximum ambient air temperature for walking on asphalt and cement surfaces. The trick is to keep moving. If having to wait for traffic lights at city boulevard intersections, the trick is to find a shadow spot on the pavement from the traffic light, a lamp post, or something else. That way, the soles of your feet won't be toasting on hot pavement while waiting for the light to turn green and the "Walk" signal to come "On" to permit crossing the intersection.
