Last Sunday I went to the Lewis & Clark State Park in Washington. Beautiful..even some old growth there and a little creek.
Of course I had to feel the earth and water under my feet , so for about an hour I adventured around through pine/cedar needle trails, moss and mud, rocks and water. It was amazing!
Anyone else have springtime stories of happy feet? : )

Fri, April 14, 2006 - 9:59 AMokay i replied and it isn't here :-(
so I'll repeat...lol
I go barefooted every chance I get AND every Monday night at drum circle....
and if we have drum circle inside I ....and everyone else so inclined...go out and dance in the puddles and the rain and the cold...or whatever...and go back in to carry some barefoot energy back to the circle....
Yay for naked feet!
janie
P.S. When I was little and would go shirtless I called it "going tummy-footed"

Sat, April 15, 2006 - 12:06 AMWhen I was little I mixed up "naked as a jaybird" and" jaywalking" and thought it meant you crossed the street barefooted...tee hee hee....I think it hit the 90's here in Arizona this week so I'm barefootin' it while I still can...

Re: gone barefoot lately?
Tue, July 4, 2006 - 4:41 PMI am barefoot in Georgia......wonderful weather for barefooting. Its good for barefooting in the summer and in the winter for short splints. Snow between your toes is a real eye opener. -

Re: gone barefoot lately?
Mon, July 17, 2006 - 6:42 AMTry to get in some time everyday. Its about a 1 1/2 miles to my office so I get about 1/2 miles woodland trail with some gravel and 1 mile of city sidewalks. Its a really nice way to start the workday. -

Re: gone barefoot lately?
Sun, February 18, 2007 - 11:56 AMAs a new-ish barefooter, I seek out every kind of surface and situation because it all feels wonderful. The best barefooting is new barefooting, where sensations are so new and varied, like mud, rainy streets, and snow. Everything feels delightful to inquisitive bare soles---prickly streets, dusty nature trails, mall floors and elevators, mud and puddles, sunlit melting snow.
